Hola muchachos:
Hace mucho que no he querido volver aquí.
No puedo simplemente seguir contestando esas preguntas, ¿verdad?
No solo fui yo. ¡Uf! Se siente bien decirlo.

now there’s nothing but time that’s wasted
and words that have no backbone
oh the whole world

Exclusive Interview: Hayley Williams Discusses The Farro Brothers Leaving Paramore-by Chris Ryan
The year 2010 should have gone down in the books as a banner year for Paramore. They toured the world behind their incredible Brand New Eyes album, singer Hayley Williams had a hand in a smash hit for rapper/singer B.o.B. with "Airplanes," and the band was looking to take some time off in 2011 to write and record a new album.
But all of that changed when, on December 18th, Paramore announced the departure of guitarist Josh and drummer Zac Farro from the band they helped found.
Then, on December 21st, Josh and Zac Farro released a statement via their blog that not only gave an incredible amount of detail regarding their reasons for leaving, but made some serious accusations about the band, claiming the group was "a manufactured product of a major label," and was, at least in the early days, controlled largely by Hayley Williams' father.
So now, in the new year, the remaining three members of Paramore --Hayley, Taylor York and Jeremy Davis -- have decided to respond to the statement and all the Internet rumor mongering that has come since its release.
MTV News sat down with the remaining members of Paramore to get the story in their own words. Below is an interview clip of Hayley Williams discussing the aftermath of the Farro brothers' statement and the future of the band itself. The video clip is part of "Paramore: The Last Word," an exclusive MTV News interview with the band. The complete Paramore interview will be unveiled Friday, Jan. 7 at 4pm ET as a live stream on MTV.com: "Paramore: The Last Word" will feature in-depth analysis of the band's future, real-time discussion with their biggest fans and exclusive footage of the band, past and present.
Be sure to check out "Paramore: The Last Word," and stay tuned for more interview footage.

Paramore Move On, In A Small Town That Doesn't -by James Montgomery
Franklin, Tennessee, is not exactly the kind of place you find yourself visiting twice within the span of 14 months (unless you really love chili cook-offs), and yet, I did.
In September 2009, I flew down there to spend the day with Paramore, who were on the verge of releasing their Brand New Eyes album and were, as I put it, poised to become "the Kings and Queen of the South." That probably didn't happen, but boy, did I believe it at the time. The band — reinvigorated by the resolution of the internal conflicts that had plagued them (resolutions that make up the very core of the album) — seemed happy, laughing and joking with one another as we ate lunch at Puckett's Grocery, rode bikes up to the local Goodwill, and hung around frontwoman Hayley Williams' house. It really seemed like they were primed to take over the planet. Or at least healthy enough to try.
Last week, I went back to Franklin, once again to speak with Paramore. I stayed at the same hotel, drove my rental car down the same rolling country roads, even ate lunch at Puckett's (you get the feeling this is the kind of town where not much ever changes), but the circumstances surrounding my trip were completely different. The planet had not been conquered, and the healing promise of Brand New Eyes seemed a distant memory. It was days after the band had announced their split with founding members Josh and Zac Farro, and the remaining members reached out to me to discuss the entire incident, for the first and, I was told, last time.
And while we'll go in-depth on my interview with the band during MTV News' "Paramore: The Last Word" live stream (Friday at 4 p.m. ET on MTV.com), it's important to know the rather incredible backstory that went into making it happen — and just how different everything was when I arrived in town.
This was, after all, an interview that came together in three days, beginning with an e-mail from the label on December 27 (when New York still resembled Hoth), followed by an improbable, last-minute flight to Nashville on the 29th (while lines of stranded travelers hoped against hope to get anywhere) and culminating in a no-holds-barred, everything-on-the-table sit down in Williams' basement on the 30th. When I was told that the band wanted to address the issue before the end of 2010, it wasn't just hyperbole. They couldn't wait to turn the page, put all of this behind them and start fresh in the New Year.
And as I drove to that interview — playing Brand New Eyes in the rental car — I was struck immediately by just how much the album had changed for me. Originally, I had interpreted its kiss-off missives as being about nameless naysayers and faceless detractors, but now, knowing everything that had happened, it became clear to me that Eyes is almost entirely about the conflict between Williams and Josh Farro. Lines like, "It has to be so lonely/ To be the only one who's holy," and, "Where's your gavel, your jury/ What's my offense this time?" were blow-by-blow accounts of the struggle between the lead singer and the lead guitarist, who not only wrote the majority of the album, but also dated each other. This was real, palpable vitriol ... the stuff that, ultimately, led to the Farros leaving the band.
When I arrived at Williams' house, I was determined to ask her about those lyrics, and, to her credit, she didn't deny that any of them were about Farro. She didn't deny anything, really — the hurt feelings, the frustration, the confusion — and neither did bandmates Taylor York and Jeremy Davis. In fact, aside from how much their entire situation had deteriorated, Paramore's honesty was the thing that impressed me the most. They answered all of Farro's charges, and there wasn't a single topic that was off limits. Sure, there was a sadness in the room, a genuine sense of heartbreak, because you got the feeling that the three actually believed that Brand New Eyes had healed them, but they put on a brave face, not for themselves (as they told me repeatedly), but for their fans.
We spoke for nearly an hour, said our goodbyes, and I headed to the airport. On the plane back to New York, I kept thinking about how I had taken this same exact flight a year ago, and how different things had become. You don't have to be in a band to understand why this happened. The same dynamic applies to any group of friends, especially when one is singled out and given the lion's share of the attention. Feelings are hurt. Things are said. Most of the time, they can't be unsaid, and the story ends much like it has with Paramore. It's a shame, but it's also life.
Only, Paramore are adamant that the story doesn't end here. They are pressing on, planning big things (which you'll hear about in the live stream) and determined not to let their fans down. They recognize all the bad that has happened, but change is not necessarily a bad thing. Of course, I found it ironic that they were talking about it in a place that seems practically change-proof, but perhaps that's the point: Franklin may stay forever the same, but Paramore will not. And maybe I'll be making another trip down to Tennessee this year, to marvel at just how different things have become. Once again.

Exclusive: Paramore React To Josh Farro's 'Exit Statement' -by James Montgomery
Band opens up to about Farro brothers' departure during 'Paramore: The Last Word,' live on MTV.com Friday at 4.p.m. ET.
FRANKLIN, Tennessee — Hayley Williams isn't going to deny any of it. Not the anger, the sense of betrayal she felt two weeks ago when reading Josh Farro's "Exit Statement," or the bewilderment over the bizarre set of circumstances that led to that statement.
But more than anything, she's not going to deny her overwhelming desire to put the whole incident behind her ... which is why MTV News flew to Tennessee last Thursday to talk to Williams and her Paramore bandmates Taylor York and Jeremy Davis about the split with the Farro brothers, and their plans to move forward without them. Because as they told us, once 2010 came to a close, they had no intention of addressing the topic anymore.
"There's been a lot of things said online, especially in the past week, and it sucks ... it sucks to read it, and it also sucks to know that responding isn't really going to help, online, because things travel so terribly on the Internet," Williams said. "So we really wanted the opportunity to show our fans that we're OK, you know? The three of us are still here, we're not going anywhere. A lot of kids are still asking if the band is breaking up, and that just goes to show how broken the communication online can be, when rumors start traveling. So this is our way of showing that there's a future and we're stoked for it."
MTV News will examine the band's past and future in "Paramore: The Last Word," a live stream on MTV.com on Friday, January 7 at 4 p.m. Because unlike any other band of their stature and status, Paramore just can't seem to escape the past. To this day, questions exist about their formation, talk of Williams' initial pseudo-career as a solo artist and about the group's early days as an indie-label act with major-label backing. And if, by some bizarre circumstance, you weren't aware of any of that, well then Josh Farros' statement probably brought you up to speed.
A large portion of our interview last week dealt specifically with Josh's central points — points the band deemed "irrelevant" — and, on Wednesday, we'll publish Paramore's responses to them. But we figured the best place to start with a situation this complex is at the beginning: with the band's first reactions to Farro's statement, which turned what had been a rather amicable split into something else entirely.
"I don't know if I got a phone call or an e-mail, but I woke up to it, basically, and that sucked, and I was not happy," Williams said. "And yeah, it hurts, because what we were told was that they weren't happy, they didn't want to do this, and you can't be mad at someone for not feeling something. ... But then when it really became about all these other things, I was very surprised and kind of felt led on, almost. We've been doing this for six, seven years now. I don't think any of this has been in vain, for any of us ... and I don't think anyone should discredit it."
"It was a drag. ... Once we released our statement, we all knew they would probably release something," guitarist Taylor York added. "So I think we were all kind of bracing ourselves. You know, breakups are hard, and there's a lot of feelings so we kind of, in a way, we expected there to be something weird. So, yeah, it was really hard to read, just because it seemed like a lot of the stuff was pretty irrelevant to what happened. I think that was the weird thing, 'cause it just didn't seem really necessary."
Of course, Williams and York said all of this in carefully measured, downright diplomatic tones. You get the feeling, had we sat down with them on the morning of December 22, immediately following Farros' statement, their reactions would've been slightly different. But Paramore made it clear that are trying very hard not to get angry, if not for the sake of the band, then for the sake of their fans.
"You feel every single type of emotion possible when something like this happens with someone that either was — or is — very close to you, you just feel everything, all at once," Williams smiled. "I've never felt so ... I don't know, I couldn't even figure out how I felt. But after realizing, like Taylor said, that it was kind of going to happen this way, you've just got to know that what's important is the three of us are still here, and that we want to do this, and that's the positive part about this."
MTV News will be unveiling our exclusive interview with Paramore on Friday at 4 p.m. ET with "Paramore: The Last Word," a live stream on MTV.com that will feature in-depth analysis of the band's future, real-time discussion with their biggest fans and exclusive footage of the band, past and present.
